PRINCIPAL USES
High performance PTFE Coated Kevlar®, Nomex® and Fibreglass Industrial Belting and Fabrics - have been developed for demanding industrial applications that require superior release characteristics, permeability for rapid drying, dimensional and thermal stability, chemical resistance and high strength to withstand the demanding industrial applications.
Premium-Grade PTFE coated Kevlar® Belts
PTFE coated Kevlar® belts are typically used in screen-printing, packaging and food processing applications. The Kevlar aramid fibres offer a belting material with an extremely high strength to weight ratio. Kevlar® belts will retain its shape and is resistant to stretch, even at elevated temperatures. Kevlar® is the belt of choice for high moisture environments and for food processing.
  • Max temperature to 200 °C continuous and 230 °C intermittent.
  • Minimum pulley diameter is 6" for drive and 3" for idler pulleys
Premium-Grade PTFE coated Nomex® Belts
PTFE coated Nomex belts are typically used in screen printing, packaging, food processing, polymer processing, floor covering, floor tiles, rubber extrusions, textile fuse pressing, wood processing and composite manufacturing applications. The Nomex® polyamide fibres offer a belting material with excellent flex life and superior abrasion resistance.
  • Max temperature to 260 °C continuous and 290 °C intermittent.
  • Min. pulley diameter is 6" for drive and 3" for idler pulleys
Premium-Grade PTFE coated Fibreglass Belts
PTFE coated fibreglass belts are typically used in screen printing, packaging, food processing, polymer processing, floor covering, floor tiles, rubber extrusions, textile fuse pressing, wood processing and composite manufacturing applications. The fibreglass fibres offer a belting material that is durable, high temperature resistant that provides maximum value.
  • Max temperature to 260 °C continuous and 325 °C intermittent.
  • Min. pulley diameter is 8" for drive and 4" for idler pulleys
Premium-Grade Silicone coated Fibreglass Belts
Silicone coated fibreglass belts are typically used in shrink tunnel and heat sealing applications. The fibreglass and silicone combination offer a budget priced belting material that is durable, high temperature resistant and that can be joined with a simple overlap and silicone sealant adhesive. Widely used as curtaining.
Joints
PTFE belts are custom fabricated to meet your demanding industrial application. We can provide a broad range of jointing options from mechanical Clipper seams and castellated joints for mesh belts and simple, skived or flush overlap joints in solid belt materials.
